I Mediate, you should too

I am beginning this new journey within myself. I am learning how to mediate; I am trying this method to find inner peace within myself. Mediation was brought to me by the crystals. I look to mediation for comfort and peace within my dreams and myself. I will take 5 to 10 minutes everyday and meditate either while my children are away or sleeping. There are so many benefits to mediation; it can clear your head, help you focus, gives you inner comfort and understanding of ones’ self. When I meditate I use crystals, I sage the space of where I will meditate, I use a candle and complete silence. I use mediation to completely clear head and help me function through the rest of my day. Motivation should be done in complete silence and is to be in a sacred space. I use mediation for my PPD, PTSD and my anxiety; it allows me to center myself in the best way possible. It teaches you to love yourself, to focus and to be able to relax. As a mother, I try to find time in my schedule to be able to meditate and center myself, so I can be able to deal with my children in a positive manner. As a woman, it teaches me and gives me permission to be vulnerable in my space. Before I do anything, I use my sage and I smudge the surrounding rooms that may cross into my space. I also use Palo, it is used to also clear the space. I am trying this new method out to help me cope with this crazy thing called life. To meditate you must practice your breathing. Also, you do not have to sit in a lotus position and meditate; you can listen to mantras or guided meditation. You can find all of these on good ol’ YOUTUBE or if you have iPhone you can download it on your apple music. Meditation is an amazing thing because it can heal the soul and your inner peace. I would recommend it and don’t give up so easily when you start. It takes a lot of time and a lot of practice and patience.
